On the very first day of your exciting Panama family vacation with the Outdoor Adventure Travel Package in Panama, we’ll pick you up at the Tocumen International Airport for a quick ride into Panama City, where you’ll be staying at the beautiful Hotel Marbella. To get you better acquainted with our upcoming adventure, we’ll hold a brief welcome meeting for the group at 7:00 PM in the lobby of the hotel. After this, enjoy a comfortable slumber as you rest up for your Outdoor Adventure Travel Package in Panama, the perfect Panama family vacation.

Early in the morning on the second day of the Outdoor Adventure Travel Package in Panama, you’ll start out on your memorable Panama family vacation with a ride on an all-terrain vehicle to the remote village of San Cristobal just past the Cerro Azul mountains on the northeast side of Panama City. You’re adrenaline will already begin to rush as you drive along through the forest. We’ll then hike for a few hours through amazing Chagres National Park to a Chagres River Tributary called the Rio Piedras. Here is where you’ll enjoy an exhilarating trip down the river on rafts, where you’ll experience class II and class III rapids. On this river we’ll enter into the remote jungles of the Chagres River’s upper basin. On the shore of the river we’ll set up a cozy camp around 4 PM, where tales around the campfire will cap off the second full day of your Panama family vacation with the Outdoor Adventure Travel Package in Panama. The third day of the Outdoor Adventure Travel Package in Panama will consist of a trip further downstream to an intriguing Indian Village. First, we’ll pass by an incredible granite canyon as we coast through some rapids into Madden Lake. Then we’ll take a “Piragua” -- a native Indian motorized wooden canoe -- into the Embera Indian Village. After a wonderful visit with in this village we’ll continue on the river to the nearest road where a driver will take you back to the Hotel Marbella. (B, L)

On the following few days of your Outdoor Adventure Travel Package in Panama, you’ll enjoy some freedom on your Panama family vacation. In Panama City we’ll take you to the airport where you’ll take a quick flight to El Porvenir, just in time for breakfast. You’ll familiarize yourself with the campsite, we’ll help you become comfortable with a sea kayak, then it’s time to make your own adventure over the next few days of your Outdoor Adventure Travel Package in Panama. You’ll have three days to explore the nearby islands and reefs by kayaking and snorkeling. You’ll sleep amazingly on the first few4 nights at the campsite, and then on the last night you’ll stay at the Ukuptupu Lodge. (B,L,D)
